Estonian Language and Culture Course

Our partner university EKA organises an intensive Estonian language and culture course, that will take place from 15 to 31 August 2022 in Tallinn.

The course is mainly dedicated to all newly accepted undergraduate students and incoming exchange students, but also members of Transform4Europe universities can apply.

During the two-and-a-half week program, participants will have the opportunity to learn the basics of Estonian language and get acquainted with Estonian culture.

Daily lessons will be followed by different cultural activities such as visits to museums, talks about Estonian culture, joint film viewings, etc.

First Annual Transform4Europe PhD conference

The First annual Transform4Europe (T4EU) PhD conference “Societal Transformations and Sustainable Development with Respect to Environment in the Post Covid-19 Digital Era“ will be hosted by Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski over two days in Sofia on 8-9 December 2021.

T4EU is an international project joined by several universities including the University of Trieste, aimed at forging a new type of transnational inter-university collaboration.

This conference is focused on the three T4EU thematic areas:

  1. Societal transformation, community building and inclusion
  2. Digital transformation and smart regions
  3. Environmental Transformation and sustainability

Doctoral students and early-stage academics from all scientific areas are kindly invited to participate and showcase the results of their research work.

Application forms (including abstracts) must be sent by 27 November, and conference papers by 20 December.
