{"id":767,"date":"2022-09-28T09:04:49","date_gmt":"2022-09-28T09:04:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/?p=767"},"modified":"2023-01-25T13:22:11","modified_gmt":"2023-01-25T13:22:11","slug":"roundtable","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/index.php\/2022\/09\/28\/roundtable\/","title":{"rendered":"T4ERI and social inclusion through museums in border areas:   the new icom 2022 definition"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p style=\"text-align:center\"><strong>We will hold the Trieste Regional Policy Roundtable on 3<sup>rd<\/sup>&nbsp;October 2022 from 5pm to 7pm.<\/strong>The title of this event will be:&nbsp;<strong>T4ERI and social inclusion through museums in border areas: the new ICOM 2022 definition.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This roundtable reflects the will to discuss how, and to what extent, our region can implement the new definition of \u2018inclusive\u2019, as recently established by ICOM, the International Council of Museums, in Prague.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-button aligncenter\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color has-dark-gray-color has-background\" href=\"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/09\/final-version_flyer-t4eri-roundtable-stakeholders-trieste-2022-003.pdf\" style=\"background-color:#71af3a\">download the poster<\/a><\/div>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>The content of the roundtable is well illustrated by the following sentence:&nbsp;<em>\u201cA museum is a not-for-profit, permanent institution in the service of society that researches, collects, conserves, interprets and exhibits tangible and intangible heritage. Open to the public, accessible and inclusive, museums foster diversity and sustainability. They operate and communicate ethically, professionally and with the participation of communities, offering varied experiences for education, enjoyment, reflection and knowledge sharing.\u201d<\/em><\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>The event, moderated by Prof. Roberta Altin and Prof.\nTullia Catalan from the University of Trieste, will be divided into two parts:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>1<sup>st<\/sup>&nbsp;part<\/strong>: prof.
