It forms part of SAR\u2019s <strong>\u201cTruth Matters\u201d 2025\u20132026 celebrations<\/strong>, highlighting resilience, the right to research, critical thinking, and academic dialogue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organised within the framework of the European <strong>Transform4Europe (T4EU) alliance<\/strong>, the conference features <strong>two thematic sessions<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Gaza:<\/strong> Challenges facing higher education, with talks by <strong>Omar Shweiki<\/strong> (Friends of Palestinian Universities) and <strong>Prof. Ahmed Abu Shaban<\/strong> (Al-Azhar University, Gaza).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sudan:<\/strong> Political and academic perspectives, featuring <strong>Prof. Munzoul Assal <\/strong>(University of Bergen), Irene Panozzo (political analyst), and <strong>Prof. Federico Donelli<\/strong> (University of Trieste).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference coincides with the <strong>closing of the travelling exhibition \u201cThe Garden of the (In)visibles\u201d<\/strong>, part of <strong>WP7 \u2013 Common Heritage and Multilingualism<\/strong>.
