{"id":1861,"date":"2025-06-16T15:13:22","date_gmt":"2025-06-16T15:13:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/?p=1861"},"modified":"2025-06-16T15:36:28","modified_gmt":"2025-06-16T15:36:28","slug":"apply-now-to-join-t4eu-week-in-kaunas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/index.php\/2025\/06\/16\/apply-now-to-join-t4eu-week-in-kaunas\/","title":{"rendered":"Apply now to join the T4EU Week in Kaunas"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Don\u2019t miss the chance to participate in one of the most exciting events organised by the T4EU Alliance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Vytautas Magnus University<\/strong> invites<strong> BA, MA<\/strong> and <strong>PhD students<\/strong> to participate in the sixth edition of the T4EU Week, under the topic: \u201c<strong>TransformEd: Renaissance of Liberal Arts<\/strong>\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five days,&nbsp;<strong>from 20<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;to 24<sup>th<\/sup>&nbsp;October 2025<\/strong>, will be filled with an attractive offer of classes and social events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>University of Trieste<\/strong> will <strong>select<\/strong> 6 BA, 6 MA and 3 PhD students to take part in one of the most significant events of our University Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Learn more about the <a href=\"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/VMU_T4EU_Week_Courses_Catalogue.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/VMU_T4EU_Week_Courses_Catalogue.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">programme<\/a> and apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT!<\/strong> \u00a0<strong>Before you attend the selected course, remember to inform your \u201cCoordinatore del Corso di Studi\u201d and the \u201cSegreteria didattica\u201d of your Department, following the dedicated\u00a0<\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Linee-guida-riconoscimento-attivita-T4EU-2024_def.pdf\">guidelines<\/a>. <strong>Failure to comply with these guidelines will preclude credit recognition.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Application deadline:\u00a0<strong>30th June 2025<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-content-justification-center is-layout-flex wp-container-core-buttons-is-layout-16018d1d wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-background wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/forms.cloud.microsoft\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=bISeJtSi0Um-kYOp6zRik14FPfOtyZZBj-r8vzxQsatUN0k4VjBIUEhRVUg0NlFCRTUySE5TWTlWTi4u&amp;route=shorturl\" style=\"background-color:#71af3a\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><span data-olk-copy-source=\"MessageBody\" style=\"font-size: 11pt;\">Apply now<\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Students <strong>can participate<\/strong> in <strong>one course<\/strong> throughout the week and be awarded 3 \u2013 4 ECTSs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Each student participates in <strong>1 course<\/strong>, which will run the <strong>whole week<\/strong>, but during the <strong>application process<\/strong> you can <strong>rank 3 courses<\/strong> that you would like to attend in order of desirability.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For each course, there will be an <strong>in-person<\/strong> component and an<strong> online<\/strong> component. The in-person component will take place during the T4EU week, whereas the online component will happen before\u00a0the week. The exact information will be sent from the course leaders after the selection process is completed.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>To complete the course, you will have to pass a <strong>knowledge test<\/strong>. After successful completion you will be <strong>awarded 3\u00a0&#8211; 4\u00a0<\/strong>ECTS by the\u00a0Vytautas Magnus University.\u00a0<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The courses will mainly take place in the <strong>morning<\/strong>. In the afternoon, we will organise optional <strong>events<\/strong>, such as <strong>sports<\/strong>, <strong>cultural <\/strong>and <strong>scientific <\/strong>events.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>Imagine a university not just as a place to get answers, but as a place to ask more thoughtful questions. This education challenges students to engage with complex texts, explore the interplay of language, culture, and power, and develop the skills to interpret, question, and create.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Over five days, participants will explore themes where knowledge meets care, and tradition sparks innovation. No final exams \u2014 just lasting questions to carry home:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>MAKING SENSE OF DISAGREEMENT.<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>How can we learn to disagree meaningfully in a time of polarization, disinformation, and digital toxicity?<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>THE IDEA OF EUROPE.<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Is Europe a place, a project, or a shared imagination \u2014 and what does it mean to belong to it today?<\/em>&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>CRITICAL HERITAGE.<\/strong>&nbsp;<em>Whose memory is preserved \u2014 and whose is silenced?
