{"id":1771,"date":"2025-03-07T16:29:02","date_gmt":"2025-03-07T16:29:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/?p=1771"},"modified":"2025-03-17T08:23:02","modified_gmt":"2025-03-17T08:23:02","slug":"t4eu-week-2024-exploring-design-in-all-its-forms-at-jean-monnet-university-in-st-etienne","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/index.php\/2025\/03\/07\/t4eu-week-2024-exploring-design-in-all-its-forms-at-jean-monnet-university-in-st-etienne\/","title":{"rendered":"T4EU Week: Exploring Design in All Its Forms at Jean Monnet University in St \u00c9tienne"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Jean Monnet University in St \u00c9tienne invites <strong>students <\/strong>and <strong>PhD students<\/strong> from T4EU partner universities to take part in the&nbsp;<strong>fifth edition of the T4EU Week<\/strong> under the topic: \u201cDesign in all its forms\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Five days, <strong>from 19<sup>th<\/sup> to 23<sup>rd<\/sup> May 2025<\/strong>, will be filled with an attractive offer of classes and accompanying events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Organisers will offer participants a choice of <strong>8 courses<\/strong> with various themes, from biology through law and history to architecture, linguistics, sustainable development and ecological transformation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Each student can participate in 1 course, which will run through the whole week, but can select up to 3 courses during application, ranked in order of preference.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The University of Trieste will select&nbsp;<strong>5 students<\/strong>&nbsp;from all educational paths to participate in one of the most important and significant events organised by our Alliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students can participate in&nbsp;<strong>one<\/strong>&nbsp;of the following courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bio Design: from nature optimisation to human design &amp; nature inspired biomimetic surfaces for biomaterials design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Passing Design: Facilitating Innovation Through Design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ancient design, Modern ideas.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design: Thinking differently, designing together<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designs in the European Union &#8211; Legal aspects<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design and language&nbsp;: The role of words in creating forms and meanings<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Designing Organizations to address Societal Challenges in Territories (DO-IN-ACT)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Design for Ecological Transformation: Laboratory for [living] Tree [as] Architecture<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The full offer and a list of recommended hotels can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canva.com\/design\/DAGZKb1julA\/7h3lknKKqk974b3-W9EKQQ\/edit\">Student Programme T4EU WEEK in Saint Etienne 2025 \u2013 Program<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Courses will mainly take place in the morning. In the afternoon, you can participate in optional activities, like sports, cultural and scientific events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To complete the course, you will have to pass a knowledge test. After successful completion, you will be awarded&nbsp;<strong>3 ECTS<\/strong>&nbsp;by Jean Monnet University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT!!<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Before you attend the selected course, remember to inform your \u201cCoordinatore del Corso di Studi\u201d and the \u201cSegreteria didattica\u201d of your Department, following the dedicated <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/sites.units.it\/transform4europe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/08\/Linee-guida-riconoscimento-attivita-T4EU-2024_def.pdf\"><strong>guidelines<\/strong><\/a>.&nbsp;<strong><u>Failure to do so will result in an impossibility to recognise your ECTSs<\/u><\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, please fill in this form:&nbsp; <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/fNRkJ8UK37\">T4EU Week in St. \u00c9tienne<\/a>.
