1. Projects of the Coin Cabinet of the National Museum of Slovenia
1.1. - Die Fundmünzen der römischen Zeit in Slowenien (ed. Peter Kos, by Andrej Semrov)
Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins, as well as the coins of the Ostrogoths, Lombards and Carolingians found on the territory of present-day Slovenia are systemati-cally being documented. Three volumes of the catalogue have already been published (the first two by Peter Kos), the fourth volume is in press, and documentation for the fifth volume has already been collected.
1.2. - Celtic Coins in Slovenia (by Peter Kos)
A catalogue of Celtic coins from the territory of present-day Slovenia will comprise the material found since 1975 (when the first publication on this topic was published). Chronological problems and the consequencies for the political structures in the southeastern Alpine region during the 2nd and 1st centuries BC, as well as special numismatic topics, will be scrutinized.
2. - Projects of the Coin Cabinet of the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb
2.1. - Die Fundmünzen der rmischen Zeit in Croatien (ed. Ivan Mirnik). Bd. II.: Die Fundmünzen von Salona und Narona (by Maja Bonacic-Mandinic, Archaeological Museum in Split)
All Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins up to the 9th century from the areas of ancient Salona and Narona will be systematically catalogued to acquire insight into monetary circulation in these important ancient centres in Dalmatia.
3. -Joint projects of the Coin Cabinets of the National Museum of Slovenia and the Archaeological Museum in Zagreb
3.1. - Celtic Coins in Croatia (by Peter Kos and Ivan Mirnik)
A thorough catalogue of Celtic coins found on the territory of present-day Croatia will be presented. Those Celtic coins either without known provenience or from sites which are currently outside the borders of modern Croatia, but which are kept in Croatian museum collections, will also be taken into consideration. A detailed study of the circulation of Celtic coins in the period from the 3rd to the 1st century BC will also be included.
